Ellie is just the best and we need her to write her bio so we can hype her up.

Melissa comes into the world of Needlepoint with an extensive art and design background. She graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Interior Design following an Internship in Palm Beach Florida where she fell in love with texture and color.

In her early years following graduation intertwined with home curation, Melissa took up the art of quilting and quickly became the president of the Cimarron Valley Quilt Guild in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She would go on to appreciate different art forms and their intricacies in craftsmanship. From woodworking, painting and pottery.

In 2023, she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer & found healing in creating again. While recovering from a double Mastectomy and Reconstruction, canvas and thread gave her mind a quiet space to find solace.

From here she designed her first canvas based off the Wicked movie and her popularity and dedication to Needlepoint soared. She gained experience working in a local store where she met Ellie and magic happened, which brings us where we are today!
